The American Jiu-Jitsu Karate Association International or the A.J.K.A.I. was founded in 1945 by Douglas L. Grose. ( Dec. 5, 1922 - Oct. 19, 2006 )
It is one of the oldest martial arts associations in the United States.
It has members worldwide and is affiliated with some of the top martial arts organizations in the world.
The A.J.K.A.I. has members from a variety of martial art styles but its' main focus is teaching and furthering the art of American Shinto Yoshin Ryu Jiu-Jitsu and Shinmei Shorin Ryu Karate.
We are also dedicated to providing qualified instruction and advancement in Okinawan and Japanese Karate, Judo, Aikido, Kobudo and Tae Kwon Do.
Membership is open to all martial artists and styles. Our instructors and State Directors have unique and diverse backgrounds in the martial arts. They are some of the most experienced and advanced martial artists in the world.
