GM Johnny Hunter is the Founder of the Kuro Tora Kempo System (Hunter Shotokan Kempo School) which is an combination of Shotokan and Chinese Kenpo. it combines both Hard and Soft movements. GM Hunter born and raised in Houston, TX he has over 43 yrs experiences in the Martial Arts, he has rank 4th in the State of Texas AOK in 1989 and 9th in NASAKA for Kumite and Kata and has became well known for his skills with the nunchakus. GM HUnter most noteable Senseis were Leroy Hunter, Rodney Edwards, Percy Mungu and Shihan Osumu Ozawa. Its was Shihan who cerified GM Hunter to teach and reprensent Shotokan in1993. Gm Hunter wa featured on Fox 26 City under Seige and Channel 13 news special. GM Hunter was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame 1997/2012 and was promoted to 8th Dan. GM Hunter now reside and teaches in Minot ND
